Assembled units will ship with the latest version of firmware and your registration key installed. Since the firmware is early in the development cycle I anticipate updates for bug fixes and feature enhancements in the near term. If you haven’t joined the CTR2 group yet, I recommend you do so you can receive firmware update notifications. You can join the group here: https://groups.io/g/CTR2
When your order is ready to ship I will invoice you for the total cost of your order including actual shipping costs based on your location. All prices include PayPal fees. You will be invoiced for the actual shipping cost to send your order.
KITS
Enclosure kits include everything you need to assemble the unit shown (enclosure, encoder(s) (if ordered), 3.5mm paddle jack (if ordered), and all hardware). They do not include the M5Dial. You can order an M5Dial from M5Stack, Mouser, Digikey, Adafruit, or many other suppliers and save the programming, testing, and assembly costs. A firmware license key for your call sign is included with all kits.
ASSEMBLED UNITS
Assembled units include the M5Dial and come completely assembled and tested. Your firmware license key will be installed and your call and license key will be written on the bottom label.
FIRMWARE LICENSE
The firmware on the CTR2-Dial must be licensed. All kits and assembled units include a free license key tied to your call sign. Your call and license key will be written on the bottom label and assembled unit will have it installed. Those that want to source their own material to build their CTR2-Dial will need to purchase a license key to run the firmware.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
I will use a small 6″x4″x4″ box to ship international orders. This allows me to keep the weight below 8 oz. Going over 8 oz. adds an extra USD 10 to the shipping cost.

The following kits and assembled units are available for order. Price includes PayPal fees. Actual shipping costs for your order will be calculated and included on the invoice for your order. Prices shown are US dollars (USD).
ENCODER TYPES
I can supply either detent (bumpy) or no-detent (smooth) types.
Detent encoders are harder to turn with the 15mm plastic knobs I use on the dual-encoder models. I recommend no-detent encoders for those units. Either encoder type works fine with the 32mm aluminum knob I use on the single-encoder units.
Unless you specify a detent encoder on the Information line on the order, your unit will ship with a no-detent encoder. You can always order a spare encoder and trade them out.
KITS AND ASSEMBLIES
Enclosure kits include everything you need to assemble a CTR2-Dial except the M5Dial. All kits below include the firmware license to run CTR2-Dial on your M5Dial. USB cable is not included. You can buy these locally or order one below if you need one.
NOTE: I will not be supplying enclosures built from PCB material. I tried to come up with a good design but couldn’t get one that I liked.
