CTR2-MIDI

CTR2-MIDI, in classic MIDI mode, is a Bluetooth and USB MIDI controller that is compatible with radio control apps such as Marcus’ (DL8MRE) excellent iOS/MacOS radio control apps, Remote Ham Radio, Thetis, SDR-Console, and other radio control programs that support MIDI control. It is available as a fully assembled and tested unit or as a kit of parts so you can build your own unit.

The new v2.0 firmware gives CTR2-MIDI a new operating mode, called Flex WiFi mode. In this mode, CTR2-MIDI connects directly to your Flex radio over WiFi, without the need of 3rd-party radio control apps. It uses the Flex Network API, just like CTR2-Flex. This mode also has a built-in keyer and sidetone that keys your radio over the network. Up to 48 button functions are available to control various modes on your radio. Flex WiFi mode works with any version of SmartSDR, including Windows versions.

When used with a MIDI translator app such as CoyoteMIDI, CTR2-MIDI can be used as a frequency control knob for other Windows and Mac radio control programs like wfView or WebSDR that accept mouse scrolls or keystrokes for frequency control. Connect your CW paddle to CTR2-MIDI and operate true CW on your remote radio with your iPhone or iPad (if your app supports it). Tune and adjust many settings on your radio using the large aluminum knob. Six dual-function pushbuttons can be mapped to control various functions on your radio such as mode or band selection, and DSP options.
