CTR2-Dial – w/ 3D Printed Enclosure

CTR2-Dial is the big brother of CTR2-MIDI. Like the MIDI it is a Bluetooth and USB MIDI controller that is compatible with radio control apps such as Marcus’ (DL8MRE) excellent iOS/MacOS radio control apps, Remote Ham Radio, Thetis, SDR-Console, and other radio control programs that support MIDI control.

When used with a MIDI translator app such as CoyoteMIDI, CTR2-Dial can be used as a frequency control knob for SmartSDR for Windows and any other Windows or Mac radio control programs like wfView or WebSDR that accept mouse scrolls or keystrokes for frequency control. You can even use it with non-radio control programs that accept mouse scrolls or keystrokes for control, like Audacity. You can find out more on this post.

This model comes in a 3D printed enclosure designed by Neil G7UFO. Neil has done an excellent job of designing a nice enclosure that will look good on your operating desk. The original CTR2-Dial is housed in a commercial, injection-molded, CNC milled, New Age enclosure and can be ordered here.

I have a limited number of 32mm silver aluminum knobs available (ordering error). Let me know in the Order Notes if you would like a silver knob on the single encoder model instead of the black knob shown in the photos.
