CTR2-Dial – w/ 3D Printed Enclosure

Description

The beauty of CTR2-Dial is that it uses modular construction so it’s easy to build into any enclosure you can imagine.

This model comes in a 3D printed enclosure designed by Neil G7UFO. Neil has done an excellent job of designing a nice enclosure that will look good on your operating desk. The original CTR2-Dial is housed in a commercial New Age enclosure that is CNC cut to house the CTR2-Dial components and can be ordered here.

CTR2-Dial is the big brother of CTR2-MIDI. Like the MIDI it is a Bluetooth and USB MIDI controller that is compatible with radio control apps such as Marcus’ (DL8MRE) excellent iOS/MacOS radio control apps, Remote Ham Radio, Thetis, SDR-Console, and other radio control programs that support MIDI control.

CTR2-Dial includes a touchscreen display that doubles as a control surface offering virtual Dials and Buttons that allow you to easily change the frequency and settings on your radio. There 12 virtual dials for adjusting variable controls and 42 virtual pushbuttons that are mapped to control various functions on your radio such as mode, filter, DSP, and band selection.

Connect your CW paddle to the single-encoder CTR2-Dial and operate true CW on your remote radio (if supported by your app).

It is available either fully assembled, programmed, and tested, or as a partially completed kit that you add your M5Dial to. It’s available in either a single or dual-encoder package.

Single-encoder models include a 3.5mm CW paddle jack.

Dual-encoder models do not include a CW paddle jack.

Select from no-detent (smooth) or detent (bumpy) encoder types.
