All CTR2 MIDI controllers (running CTR2-MIDI or CTR2-Dial firmware), must be configured to match the MIDI map of the app they are controlling. These configurations include both the MIDI controls used in the app and the labels used in CTR2 controllers running CTR2-Dial firmware.

Most radio control apps must have their MIDI support configured (i.e. “mapped”). Each of Marcus’ (DL8MRE) apps come with a basic map for the CTR2 Controller and the CTR2 Dial Controller in the Tools menu, but you’ll still need to edit these maps to match your CTR2 controller.

Each zip file below includes a map that can be imported into you app, a CTR2 configuration file that can be imported into your CTR2 controller (this requires an XModem enabled dumb terminal such as Tera Term), a spreadsheet you can use to manually enter the mapping and configuration settings, and instructions.

These files should get you started. Feel free to make changes to your configurations to fit your operating style.
