VIRUS DETECTED ISSUE WITH ESPRESSIF FLASH DOWNLOAD TOOL v3.9.8
It’s been reported that Windows detects a Trojan virus in the latest download tool (v3.9.8). When this has happened previously it was due to the tool using some Python libraries. The discussion from last year can be found here: https://github.com/espressif/esptool/issues/944.
For now, please use the 3.9.7 version from this site: Flash Downloader v3.9.7 or use the new browser based flash download tool as described here.

Dual-Boot CTR2-Flex and CTR2-Dial Firmware
A new dual-boot version of CTR2-Flex/CTR2-Dial firmware is available. CTR2-Flex v2 allows you to switch between CTR2-Flex and CTR2-Dial firmware without re-flashing your hardware. Find out more about this new version and download it here.

Download the latest CTR2-Flex firmware here: v2.03.03 – September 16, 2025: This version adds a Settings option to enable or disable the debounce delay (120 mSec) for touch events that was added in v2.03.02. Also, now displaying the selected Rx antenna on the Dashboard Home page.
